Demanding of the government for a service structure, and other facilities, the Young Doctors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa protested on main Sher Shah Suri road near the Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday. The rally was spearheaded by the provincial president of Young Doctors Association, Faisal Iftikhar Awan along with dozens of doctors. They were holding placards and banners yell slogans in favour of their demands.

The demonstrators also chanted full-throated slogans against the provincial health department for using delaying tactics in fulfilment of their demand. "We are demanding for provision of a comprehensive service structure since six months, but the government was not given attention toward our demand, said Faisal Iftikhar, while talking to reporters.

He criticised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for deliberately ignoring their demands despite protests and agitation for the last several months. He asked the government to provide a service structure to young doctors on the patron of Punjab. The young doctors warned that if the government was used further delaying acceptance of their demands, they would expand their agitation other parts of the province.
